Yammex finally has foreign competition from Libertas

Yammex, owns a majority of Harud's oil and gas reserves.

Abu Abal - Prime Minister Ishal Al-Esqak has announced the end of monopoly of the Yammex Corporation after agreeing to a deal that will allow Libertas oil and natural gas companies to pump in Harud. This has met mixed reactions by both Liberal and Muslim Brotherhood MP's, saying that the government is finally getting rid of oil and natural gas monopoly in Harud, but other MP's have negative feelings saying that it "hurts the economy and weaken Harud"; a country with the 18th largest oil reserves and the 20th largest gas reserves.

But no matter what, Libertas companies will pump in Harud but with restrictions on how much. Negotations are still in progress but it could be a 5 - 20% share on natural resources between Harudi national companies and Libertas and other foreign companies. Even with the falling price of oil, foreign companies are keen to drill in Harud.
